New research on mid until late adolescence has shown low back pain
to be persistent. In other words, low back pain in children and teens
should be taken seriously and those suffering should seek treatment as
soon as possible. Similar to adults, the back pain and problems causing
the back pain do not simply go away, never to return. Once back pain
surfaces, it commonly sticks around or comes back in the future. In
case you weren’t aware, chiropractic care is appropriate for all ages. Source: Spine. 29(21):2452-2457, November 1, 2004. |
